Green Festivals Bringing ‘Cowspiracy’ Documentary To 2016 Expos


Cowspiracy: The Sustainability SecretIn a new partnership with A.U.M. Films, Green Festival announced that they will be hosting screenings of the acclaimed documentary Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret by filmmakers Kip Anderson and Keegan Kuhn. Screenings of Cowspiracy, which uncovers the planet’s most destructive industry, will be available in every expo city in 2016. Coupled with this offering, Green Festival will feature thousands of meatless products as well as an all vegan and vegetarian food court in an effort to expose consumers to the wide variety of options available to live healthier and more sustainably.

The 2nd cut of the documentary film streaming exclusively on Netflix was produced by Oscar-nominee and environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davisson and Appian Way Productions.

The 2016 Green Festival® Expo schedule is as follows:

  • New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center (April 15-17)
  • the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. (May 6-8)
  • the Los Angeles Convention Center (Sept. 16-18)
  • Portland’s Oregon Convention Center (Dec. 9-11)
  • Pier 35 at The Embarcadero in downtown San Francisco (Nov. 11-13)
